What do you consider happiness? Approaching life philosophically, an academic activity, or an intellectual pursuit. No, nothing of the sort.

Delighted living is absolutely nothing more than living a regular life free from excessive pressures, issues and stress. The Art of Happy Living is not a complicated kind of art tough to discover; rather a basic art of living well, eating well, believing well and feeling well. Just tune up your mind to take pleasure in every moment of life and let the happiness follow you.

Joy is purely an internal matter. It has nothing to do with your external situation. The majority of people make the critical error of looking outwards for happiness rather than looking inwards. Only fools worry about the situations about which they have no control. Why stress if you cannot change the weather condition, rather enjoy it whether it’s hot, humid, cold, cloudy, foggy or snowy? Keep your internal weather pleasant all the time. Don’t let external matters take your smile away. Always look inside and find the best part of yourself. Don’t be afraid to let others see it, feel it, and if necessary, feed off of it. You’ll both find yourselves better for it.

Being Who You Want to Be

The sensation of happiness is within you. There is something positive within you which keeps you delighted and there is something negative within you which keeps you unhappy. That “something” requires constant attention. If you wish to live a pleased life then eliminate the negative “something” that makes you dissatisfied. Always focusing on the negative makes issues complex and increases stress. You don’t have to do that. You shouldn’t want to do that. Do you know the best part? You can be exactly who you want to be, it’s simply a matter of choosing to be that person and living your life to its fullest.

Happy living is the benefit of positive thinking. Remember, only positive thinking can bring happiness in your life. If you cannot think positively, you generally cannot live the life most people hope they can. Be your own coach and consultant. Look at things with a favorable angle. Joy is all around. It’s near you. If you do not wish to live delighted, it’s up to you. It’s your choice. Don’t blame others. Don’t blame your fate, or karma, or other external factors. They are not the source of your ills. It’s all about making the personal decision to be who you want to be and to live the way you want to live.

If you want to live a delighted life then get rid of the negative “something” which makes you unhappy. If you do not want to live happy that’s simply a personal choice. You have no one else to blame. The buck stops with one person. That’s not your boss, it’s not one of your coworkers, it’s not your best friend, and it’s not your spouse. That person is staring back as you when you look in the mirror. Put simply, that person is you. Choose to live a delighted life. You won’t regret it.
